Hotwire Communications, leading provider of fiber optic telecommunications services, and The Integral Group, are thrilled to work together to bring new technology to Assembly, the 145 acre redevelopment of the former General Motors plant.
Honored to be selected as the premier service provider for this community, Hotwire is actively installing fiber optics, bringing their fastest speeds to Assembly and Doraville. The fiber optic network is capable of delivering 10 Gigabits per second and is initially being installed in The Yards, the 25 acre adaptive reuse portion of the development. The Yards contains the original rail lines on property, historical elements, as well as 175,000 square feet of the former plant. When completed Assembly could have up to ten million square feet of commercial development which includes Third Rail Studios, a world class TV/Film studio, office space, restaurants and retail and approximately 5,000 residential units.
Hotwire Communications specializes in providing telecommunications and in-home entertainment services delivered by a privately owned fiber optic network to communities in Georgia. Assembly’s comprehensive gigabit fiber optic network capacity will be unmatched in the marketplace. Hotwire will provide HD television, ultra-fast internet, digital voice service, and more. Service will be provided to residents, businesses, retailers, with Wi-Fi access throughout the community.
High speed Internet service is a top priority for many, and with faster speeds, Hotwire will be able to offer this amazing amenity to the entire mixed-use community. Hotwire’s team of engineers are actively engaged building the fiber optic network capable of delivering a robust gigabit network that will provide virtually unlimited bandwidth potential to Assembly’s commercial customers.
Hotwire Communications has been providing fiber-based telecommunications services for over 10 years, supplying advanced, customized, fiber optic telecommunications services for residential, commercial, hospitality, and campus environments.
‘The growth of Hotwire’s fiber deployments in the greater Atlanta market is exceptional and very exciting,” said Max R. Kipfer, Hotwire’s market executive. “Integral’s vision and the Assembly development will completely change the City of Doraville and the region around it and we are extremely proud to be a part of it.”
